Share FORK IN THE ROAD - Nazatron (Rees Street Records)
Christ. I don’t why they sent this to I-94. They surely haven’t paid much attention to the music that gets a play in the bar. Try to imagine everything that makes up the jive and put it into one very dreary recording. Judging by the cover, someone has a fantasy about being the new Brian Eno. Even the most cursory listen demonstrates how very clearly mistaken that idea is. This makes Savage Garden sound like the Stooges. Clearly Nazatron’s main man Genaaron Diamente is some kind of masochist who wants my abuse. Quivering naked, he whimpers “Beat me. Beat me.”
Understanding the true nature of sadism, I sneer “No.” - Bob Short
